Healthcare Talent are recruiting for an Occupational Therapist based in North London to manage our clients occupational therapy delivery across their whole group. Our client specialises in supporting young people that have a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder. They also specialise in treating all the associated conditions that each patient may have alongside that diagnosis.

The OT will play a huge role within the Multi-Disciplinary Team, delivering care to children and young people up to the age of 25.

Candidate Criteria:

* Current UK professional registration

* 6 months experience working as an OT within eating disorders with young people in the UK

* Clear DBS

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

* Psychologically strong, and empathic

Job Responsibilities:

* To apply a high level of understanding of the effects of disability on occupational performance and provide training and advice on lifestyle changes and adaptations to the client’s social and physical environment.

* To independently manage a clinical caseload of service user with complex mental health needs.

* To identify occupational therapy goals as part of the overall care plan, using specialist mental health and occupational therapy assessments, including MOHO tools.

* To evaluate effectiveness of therapy interventions and quality of clinical decisions in conjunction with service users/carers, other professionals etc.
