Salary: up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience

This organisation is an industry leader in providing high-quality window systems for both commercial and residential projects.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join their dynamic team. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and cost affective quotes for quantities of materials and labour. As an experienced Estimator you will be comfortable with analysing project specifications, conducting site visits and communicating with suppliers and customers via the phone, email and have to face.

Who are we?

We are Busy Bee Recruitment, an awarding-winning recruitment agency supplying both temporary and permanent staffing solutions throughout the UK to our wonderful client base.

What you will be doing:

* Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work

* Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment

* Obtain and review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors

* Conduct site visits as necessary to gather information for accurate estimates

* Prepare and submit bid proposals in a timely manner

* Provide support and expertise during the project handover phase to ensure a smooth transition from estimation to execution

What we are looking for:

* Previous experience as an Estimator

* Construction industry knowledge – ideally windows

* Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications

* Strong analytical and mathematical skills

* Ability to work collaboratively with team members and external partners

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* Ideally proficient in using estimating software Logikal and Microsoft Office applications

* Knowledge of construction materials and industry standards
