Senior Finance Assistant required to join a friendly and well established not for profit organisation based in Manchester on a fixed term, full-time basis. My client is looking for an experienced Senior Finance Assistant to support their finance team.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Finance Assistant
Customer facing support services responsibilities
Cashiering transactional activities
Providing outstanding customer support to students and staff in relation to financial transactions
Provision of financial information, advice and guidance
Manage the processes around the organisations largest asset, its bank account, in a controlled disciplined and efficient manner.
Responsibility for ensuring the security and control of all cashiering functions, including the accurate posting of income, investigation of errors and reporting and resolution of discrepancies.
Processing payments and foreign payments onto SAPRequired skills and experience of the Senior Finance Assistant
Strong transactional finance experience
Previous customer service experience
Previous data inputting experience
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel
