Monarch Education seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to work in an mainstream school in Birmingham, B15. The candidate will be supporting learners with ADHD, ASC and other additional needs. Experience working in schools with children that have numerous needs and behaviour is essential. This role is starting in September 2024.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with young people
Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children
Have good behaviour management skills
Have experience supporting children with additional needs

Main Responsibilities:

Supporting the class teacher and other teaching assistants in the day to day running of the class
Supporting children during lessons/school activities
Managing difficult behaviours
Delivering 1:1 or small group activities
Collecting evidence of children's work to support their assessment
