Job Summary:

LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a SEMH school for students between 5-11. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing personality and be comfortable working with children who exhibit challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEMH needs in a SEMH school setting
  • Work across multiple year groups to provide individualized support
  • Assist students in reaching their goals with additional support
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement support plans
  • Provide a reliable and friendly presence to students and staff

Requirements:

  • Comfortable working with children who exhibit challenging behaviour
  • Outgoing and nurturing personality
  • Willingness to support SEMH learners (no experience required)
  • Reliable and friendly
