About the Role:

LTF Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic, fully inclusive SEN School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and physical wellbeing of students with challenging behaviour.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to support children and young people with challenging behaviour.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies that manage students' behaviour.
  • Engage hard-to-reach learners with an innovative, individualised approach.
  • Promote and support the progress of all students.
  • Meet the additional needs of students across the provision.

About the Provision:

The SEN School provides a safe and supportive environment for students who have been marginalised from education. Our aim is to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum alongside the core skills needed for adulthood. We have developed leading-edge systems and processes to improve outcomes, and you will be working with learners across two high-quality sites.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Qualified Teaching Assistant
  • Minimum of 1 year in-school experience
