About the role:

We’re looking for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in challenging behaviours to join our team in Cheshunt, London. This position is available immediately due to the increased demand for support in our SEN department. The recruitment process includes a face-to-face interview and a trial day. Early applications are encouraged.

You’ll work closely with SEN children in small groups and classroom settings, implementing EHCP strategies. Our school values respect, inclusion, and collaboration, providing teachers with strong administrative support and emphasising parent relationships.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children with challenging behaviours, preferably within a school setting.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

• A proactive and resilient attitude with a passion for supporting the learning and well-being of SEN students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans designed by the SENCO and teachers.

• Working closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning experiences that meet the specific needs of SEN students.

• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.

• Assisting students during lessons, ensuring they stay engaged and motivated.
