About the role: As a SEN TA, you'll work closely with students who may require additional support due to challenging behaviours, including those prone to running. Your dedication and empathy will be instrumental in creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic school community, where no two days are the same. With small class sizes and ample resources, you'll have the chance to make a real impact on the lives of our students.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly those with challenging behaviours.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and resilience.
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing one-on-one support to students with challenging behaviours, including those prone to running
• Assisting classroom teachers in implementing individualised learning plans.
• Promoting positive behaviour management strategies.
• Collaborating with SENCO and other staff members to ensure the holistic development of students
• Monitoring and recording student progress.
