Are you a passionate and talented Chef Manager looking for a temporary opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment? Our client, a leading organisation in the culinary industry, is seeking a skilled individual to join their team from June 3rd, 2024, to July 31st, 2024. - possibly longer. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 8.00am - 2.30pm term time only, that will allow you to demonstrate your culinary prowess while managing and running a bustling kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Take charge of running and managing a busy kitchen, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations.
Prepare nutritious and delicious meals for a variety of cooking schools.
Place orders with suppliers, ensuring the availability of fresh ingredients for cooking schools meals.
Process all necessary paperwork related to the kitchen, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Supervise and guide a dedicated team, providing support and fostering a collaborative working environment.
Implement safety and hygiene standards, ensuring the kitchen maintains the highest level of cleanliness.

Requirements:

Possess an Enhanced DBS on the up-to-date service, as it is a requirement for this role.
Proven experience as a Chef Manager working in Education or in a similar role, demonstrating your culinary expertise and leadership skills.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively lead and work alongside your team.
A passion for cooking and a flair for creating innovative and exciting dishes.
High levels of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
