Are you a dedicated RMN/RNLD qualified professional with a passion for delivering high-quality care? Join our client’s large residential service in Wigan as a Clinical Deputy Manager and lead the way in clinical excellence and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive audits against CQC regulations, local authority requirements, and organisational standards, including weekend and night audits. Develop and implement action plans to address audit findings.

* Leadership and Support: Provide assurance to the Home Manager and senior leadership team that the service is safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led. Lead the implementation of clinical care strategies such as the Dementia Strategy.

* Clinical Management: Oversee the health and social care needs of all service users, ensuring person-centred, evidence-based care. Manage clinical equipment and supplies and maintain high standards of practice within the team.

* Training and Development: Lead and monitor training programs, ensuring team members complete mandatory training and development opportunities. Conduct regular supervisions, appraisals, and competency evaluations.

* Operational Duties: Manage team duty rotas, annual leave, and training allocation. Support budget management, daily leadership reports, and operational review meetings. Handle complaints, safeguarding issues, and incidents according to company policies.

* Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and the wider community. Promote inclusivity and diversity within the service, ensuring a supportive and non-discriminatory environment.

Person Specification:

Knowledge:

* Comprehensive understanding of care service practices, legislation, regulations, and standards, including CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act (2008).

* In-depth knowledge of protecting vulnerable adults, care home operations, and evidence-based practice.

Experience:

* Proven track record of delivering successful outcomes and managing complex medical, psychological, and social needs.

* Experience working within a multidisciplinary team and advocating for quality care outcomes.

* Strong literacy and communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain professional relationships.

* Experience in auditing, reporting, and supporting team training and development.
