The Opportunity
Given increased operational support across the UK our client currently has a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join their dynamic Rail team based at Sizewell C (SZC) where you will have the opportunity to work on some exciting projects and help drive the future of nuclear power.
The salary offered will be dependent on experience, and you can expect a wide range of benefits on top that include the employer putting in over double the statutory amount towards your pension, healthcare (after a period of service), 24 days holidays plus Bank Holidays, Employee Share Scheme and much more
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Supporting planning and delivery associated with the full life cycle delivery of a rail contract or railway work packages.
Ensuring full and consistent compliance to all appropriate Network Rail Standards is delivered.
Maintaining effective communications with all stakeholders, suppliers, Network Rail and team.
Responding to tender queries, meetings with suppliers, and if required providing input to tender technical reviews.
Managing and resolving issues within the contact or package in a timely manner.
Ensuring the List of Deliverables relating to the scope of work is delivered.
Ideally, you’ll come from the rail infrastructure sector.You will have the Qualifications and experience
Ideally you will be a Civil Engineering/Construction/Business/Maths/Project Management or similar graduate with relevant industry APM experience.
Experience in design and, or the delivery of rail infrastructure projects.
Good knowledge of CDM Regulations.
Knowledge or experience of applying APM body of knowledge and OGC's Prince 2.
IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs – Word/Excel/Outlook.
The ability to re-prioritise tasks in fast paced changing environment.Get in touch now
