We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Director to work on a nuclear construction site in Leiston.
The project will involve Network Implementation at Large Regulated Construction site

Experience Required: Extensive experience with NEC Type C contract delivery

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:
Lead and manage the entire network implementation project from inception to completion
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.

Project Planning & Execution
Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Oversee the procurement process, including supplier and subcontractor management.

Contract Management:
Ensure compliance with NEC Type C contract requirements.
Manage contract variations, claims, and disputes effectively.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Implement robust quality control procedures to meet stringent industry standards.
Ensure adherence to all safety, regulatory, and environmental guidelines.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and community representatives.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
Develop contingency plans to address potential project challenges.

Financial Oversight:
Monitor project finances, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
Report on financial performance, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

Critical Success Factors:

Effective Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.

Technical Expertise:
In-depth understanding of network systems and infrastructure within a large construction site.

Contractual Knowledge:
Proven track record in NEC Type C contract management and delivery.

Communication Skills:
Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Problem-Solving Ability:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to risk management.

Attention to Detail:
Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Financial Acumen:
Strong financial management skills, ensuring project stays within budget and financial parameters.

Interested candidates should possess a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and contract management experience to drive the successful implementation of network infrastructure in a regulated construction build.

This role falls outside IR35.
The role will be site based 5 days per week during the initial set up with hybrid working to follow in time.
