Are you passionate about Humanities and looking to inspire young minds? ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Humanities Subject Specialist (history, Geography, RE) to join our team as a Cover Supervisor in Stoke-on-Trent.

About the role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering pre-set work in the absence of the regular teacher.
Ensure a positive and conducive learning environment.
Support students with their learning and address any immediate issues or concerns.
Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe and orderly environment.
Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to the overall school community.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Humanities Subject specialist you will:

A degree in a Humanities-related subject (History, Geography, Religious Studies, etc.).
Previous experience working with secondary school students is preferred.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A passion for education and inspiring young people.
Flexibility and adaptability in various classroom settings.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

A degree in a Humanities-related subject (History, Geography, Religious Studies, etc.).
