About the role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering pre-set work in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Ensure a positive and conducive learning environment.
  • Support students with their learning and address any immediate issues or concerns.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe and orderly environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to the overall school community.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Humanities Subject specialist you will:

  • A degree in a Humanities-related subject (History, Geography, Religious Studies, etc.).
  • Previous experience working with secondary school students is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A passion for education and inspiring young people.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in various classroom settings.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • A degree in a Humanities-related subject (History, Geography, Religious Studies, etc.).
