Are you an experienced Assembly Team Leader? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets.

Based in a busy assembly department, you will be running a team of mechanical assemblers within an precision aerospace industry.

Location / Hours:
You'll be based close to Gerrards Cross; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. Free parking available. 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, with a 12pm finish on Friday.

Assembly Team Leader Duties and Responsibilities:

To supervise a team of operators and ensure that output and production targets are met
Ensure that the production schedule is adhered to in accordance with the relevant SOP's work instructions and Health and Safety requirements
Drive improvement activities such as 5s and TOC etc
Plan and allocate work to maximise the teams output
Provide progress updates through regular work meetings etc
Appraisals and training plans for staff members
Ensure that all Health and Safety regulations are followed at all times
Review all manual handing procedures
Assembly Team Leader Profile:

Strong, proven experience leading a assembly team within a manufacturing environment
Experience handling team output and handling team meetings
Good knowledge of Risk Assessments and COSH
Experience with dealing with internal disciplinary
Apprentice served or engineering education is preferred but not essential
