Working Hours:
37-hour week
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Role:
We are looking for a proficient Textile Assembly Specialist to join our client's production team.
The ideal candidate will be tasked with assembling, cutting, and stitching various fabric and webbing components necessary for aerospace manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Component Fabrication:
Create components utilizing the appropriate materials from established templates, patterns, and specifications derived from technical drawings, including the production of initial samples.
Labeling:
Accurately label components using ink pads and rubber stamps.
Template Cutting:
Cut patterns/templates from technical drawings and utilize these templates to cut fabric pieces prior to sewing, operating industrial sewing machines and overlockers.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect materials for defects or inconsistencies in threads, patterns, or instructions.
Technical Documentation:
Utilize technical drawings and specifications to accurately identify and apply part numbers, drawing revisions, and surface finishes.
Documentation:
Employ SAP for accurate record-keeping of work performed.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of fabric weaves and types.
Capability to perform basic maintenance on sewing machines, such as needle changes.
Comfortable in a manufacturing environment and able to perform repetitive tasks.
All successful candidates will undergo background security checks, including verification of identity, employment history, address history for the past five years, nationality, immigration status, and criminal record. For roles requiring Security Clearance, candidates must possess or be willing to obtain the necessary clearance.
