We are pleased to be working with a repeat client in the construction industry, leading their search for a Subcontractor Team Leader. This is a permanent role overseeing a growing team of Accounts Payable professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support a team of dedicated Accounts Payable professionals to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.

  • Ensure the efficient processing of statements and reconciliations, including balance sheet reconciliations for all Subcontract Ledger subledgers.

  • Deal with supplier and internal enquiries, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly.

  • Prepare and implement processes to streamline and optimize Accounts Payable operations, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.

  • Implement and maintain best practices in Accounts Payable, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working in Accounts Payable, with a strong understanding of construction industry practices and regulations.

  • Experience working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong IT skills, proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheets, with experience in COINS a significant advantage.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
