Role Overview:

As the Mechanical Package Manager, you will be the crucial link between their team and the mechanical and electrical subcontractors. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful delivery of all mechanical packages, focusing on chilled pipe systems (must have experience in this), while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact between the main contractor and mechanical and electrical subcontractors.

Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of chilled pipe systems.

Ensure all mechanical works are completed to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule.

Manage and coordinate mechanical packages, including planning, procurement, and resource allocation.

Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Package Manager or similar role in large-scale construction projects.

Strong knowledge of chilled pipe systems is essential.

Excellent understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within data centres or similar environments.

Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and ensure project delivery within specified parameters.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
