About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Package Manager to join our team at Cambridge and Beaulieu. As a Mechanical Package Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Mechanical, Public Health, and BMS packages from pre-construction through to final handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Inform and exchange effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project success.
  • Manage the procurement and tender process.
  • Review and affirm contractor proposals.
  • Ensure that the construction and installation teams are in control of their performance against agreed schedules and Person-hour budgets.
  • Organise the team pre, during, and post-construction on site, stakeholder, and risk management.
  • Lead on budget and change management.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience working in a similar Mechanical Package Manager role. Experience working with Network Rail is essential, as well as experience working on complex construction projects, especially station builds, particularly in the Rail Sector. NEC Contract knowledge and Installation and Public Health experience are also required. The successful candidate will be a team leader with excellent communication skills.
