Job Title: Mechanical Package Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Package Manager to join our team at Egis Group. As a key member of our construction engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the integration of various systems within rail projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee the integration of mechanical systems within rail projects.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and site managers to ensure the successful delivery of mechanical packages.
  • Develop and implement systems and procedures to maintain a cost-effective, high-quality, safe, and environmentally responsible approach to design, construction, commissioning, and other technical activities.
  • Collaborate with designers, supply-chain partners, and other stakeholders to lead on effective constructability advice, value engineering, logistics, and delivery plans during the pre-construction phase.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the integration of systems meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, design, and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in large multi-discipline rail or infrastructure projects within a tier 1/2 contractor.
  • Expert knowledge in various building, infrastructure, and/or industrial mechanical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of rail industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of Project and Construction Management principles.
  • Experience with the development of project programmes.
  • Account or commission management experience, with responsibility for project P&L.
