Quality Assurance Leader

Our client operates within the dynamic Aerospace sector, seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Leader to join their on a permanent basis. You'll play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of a robust Quality Improvement System. You'll work closely with various teams, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards across the organization.
Their experienced teams partner with their broad, global customer base, providing both technical expertise and broader support in both the fixed wing and rotary wing markets.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Improvement System Development: Enhance and maintain their Quality Improvement System.
Team Collaboration: Develop strong working relationships with team members.
Customer/Supplier Interface: Engage with customers and suppliers, including occasional travel for audits and visits.
Coaching and Facilitation: Lead quality processes and improvement activities using their UK principles.
Continuous Improvement: Embed continuous improvement skills within the organization.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure products and services meet customer requirements, quality standards, and airworthiness regulations.
Auditing and Corrective Actions: Conduct product and process audits, analyze results, and implement corrective actions.
Problem-Solving Leadership: Provide coaching on problem-solving tools such as 8Ds.
QRQC System Training: Train and coach teams on the QRQC system.
Quality Liaison: Coordinate with their other sites on quality matters.
Customer Complaint Management: Handle customer complaints and ensure timely and effective resolution.
External Audits: Assist with external audit processes.
NPI Support: Perform verification and validation activities for New Product Introductions.
Quality Data Analysis: Analyze quality data and present findings at management reviews.
Continuous Improvement Events: Participate in CI events.
Quality Records Management: Maintain and manage quality records.
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Experience: Relevant aerospace qualifications/experience.
Airworthiness Standards: Familiarity with airworthiness standards and requirements.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly at all levels within the Group.
Training Courses: Attendance of auditing/part 145/human factors & SMS training courses.
Aerospace Processes: Experience with aerospace processes and procedures.
Quality Qualifications: Any relevant quality-related qualifications.
Diagnostic Skills: Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Technical Proficiency: PC literate with the ability to use software tools.
Technical Manuals: Ability to interpret technical manuals and instructions.
Objective Achievement: Proven ability to achieve set objectives.Desired
