Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor - £400m+ Data Centre Project in London

About the Role:

I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a specialization in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) for an exciting and challenging project - the construction of a £400m+ data centre in London. This is for one of the leading top-tier main contractors, they pride themselves on delivering high-profile and complex projects that push the boundaries of innovation and excellence.

The Project:

This state-of-the-art data centre will set new standards in design, efficiency, and technological integration. This project is a significant milestone for us and offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of construction innovation in the UK.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all M&E quantity surveying packages for the data centre construction project.
Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
Oversee procurement processes, including tendering and contract administration.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure cost control and project efficiency.
Conduct risk assessments and implement cost-saving strategies.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and contractual obligations.
Monitor progress, prepare reports, and present updates to senior management and clients.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in large-scale construction projects, with a strong focus on M&E.
In-depth knowledge of M&E systems and their financial implications.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project requirements.
Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field.Benefits:
