Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing West Sussex Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate of £14.38 which is negotiable dependent upon experience.

We are looking for a CYPL Coordinator this role will be: PO19 1RQ (Hybrid)

The right candidate will:

* Gathering and accurately recording highly sensitive and confidential data on the designated databases, collating key information relating to Children’s Social Care and partner agencies.

* Ensuring effective and proactive diary management, (re)prioritisation and booking of meetings, events etc, liaison with colleagues, partners, and customers to manage expectations effectively and provide a positive interaction with/for the Assistant Director(s) and Directorate.

* Organising and taking notes at key meetings to meet statutory and legal requirements e.g. panel meetings, Improvement Board meetings, Ofsted Inspection meetings and other statutory meetings - ensuring key actions are noted and acted upon.

* Coordinating large scale / complex events which involve arranging dates, booking rooms, informing attendees of arrangements, and distributing confidential papers, as well as raising purchase orders.

* Establishing effective working relationships with colleagues within Children’s Social Care and partner agencies – for example staff from police and/or reviews, challenging existing practices and generating ideas and solutions.

We require the following:

* GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent qualification or experience operating at this level of literacy and numeracy.

* A recognised qualification in office skills or administration, or a business[1]related subject at level 2 or 3 of the national qualifications framework or have acquired equivalent experience within the workplace.

* Experience of providing business support, advice and/or guidance to others.

* Experience of forming effective working relationships.

* Experience of administrative tasks and processes.

* Experience of inputting data and using databases.

* Experience of working in a fast paced, innovative work environment, whilst remaining calm.

* Experience of applying relevant legislation, policies and/or procedures to individual pieces of work.
