Sewell Wallis are supporting an extremely successful, family-run business based in a beautiful, picturesque location near Stamford Bridge. They are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join them on a 6-month fixed-term contract, initially to cover maternity leave, on a part-time basis. Working 3/ 4 days per week, in the office.
The contract does have a high potential to be extended, and there will be plenty of support as the position is working alongside the Financial Controller and the FD.
This role would suit someone who is part-qualified or QBE, who is looking to gain further exposure to the management accounting process. It could also suit someone who has extensive experience in finance, whose main priority is to find something closer to home
What will you be doing?
Production of monthly management accounts for review by the Senior Management Accountant and Financial Controller
Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including inter-company balances
Preparation and input of monthly journals - including accruals, prepayments, deferred and accrued income, depreciation and analysis
Processing payroll
Financial Reporting
Assisting with the ERP implementation projectWhat skills are we looking for?
Excellent attention to detail with an analytical approach to problem-solving
Strong communication skills
Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) or QBE
Ability to commit to the 6 months contract
