Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Family Support: Provide practical and emotional support to children and their families to promote their well-being.
Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of family situations and develop tailored support plans.
Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers, to coordinate care and support for families.
Advocacy: Act as an advocate for children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
Crisis Intervention: Respond to emergency situations, providing immediate support and intervention as necessary.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all interactions and interventions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications and Skills
Education: A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience working with children and families, preferably in a social work setting.
Ability to build trusting relationships with children and families.
Capacity to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in child and family support.
