We are seeking an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join our dedicated Child Protection Team at PPR Social Care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and working with vulnerable children and their families, intervening where necessary to provide support and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify areas of need and develop effective intervention plans.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide a comprehensive support network for children and families.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local community groups and organizations to promote early intervention and prevention.
- Ensure that all interventions are delivered in accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements.
- Make decisions about the most appropriate interventions based on professional knowledge and experience.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with significant experience in child protection and social care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.
- Knowledge of social care legislation and local government requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results.
Working Arrangements:
This role requires the successful candidate to attend the locality 3 days per week, with a flexible approach to working hours.
