As a Logistics Transport Manager, you will have overall control of their delivery fleet, working closely with their dedicated team to meet and exceed On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) targets. Your responsibilities will include managing vehicle schedules and bookings, conducting daily checks, ensuring driver compliance, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and maintenance. Additionally, you will be responsible for route and load planning, raising accurate documentation, and providing logistical support for material movements between our different sites.
To excel in this role, you should have previous experience in a similar position and possess a full clean driving licence. Strong IT skills are essential, and familiarity with ERP systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics) will be advantageous. A valid FLT licence is also desirable.
Our client offers a competitive annual salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000, along with 25 days of annual leave plus statutory holidays. You will work Monday to Thursday from 07:15 to 16:30 and on Fridays from 07:15 to 12:15.
