Account Manager

A rapidly growing manufacturer and distributor of high quality and innovative LED lighting products and wiring accessories for a global customer base. The Group supplies a blue chip and diversified customer base of trade distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and project developers with a wide range of products which broadly fall into the market recognised brands (LED Lighting) British General (Wiring Accessories) Masterplug (Portable Power) and Ross (AV Accessories)
Operates a fully integrated operating model which includes wholly owned manufacturing and product development facilities in the UK and China that enables the Group to maintain strong control over its cost base and the quality of its products while allowing to bring products to market quickly and at low cost.
The Role
This is an opportunity to join an extremely busy and successful eCommerce team with the hire of an experienced Account Manager
A large emphasis of this role entails the management of Vendor central; you will be required to manage and oversee the existing sales operation with responsibility for developing and growing sales across the UK and Europe
You will also be responsible for maximising product performance, implementing effective marketplace strategies and driving sales
You will work with the wider team managing promotional activity, advertising, sales, and forecasting
The role will initially be based in the Telford office 3 days a week with the option of becoming more hybrid once fully up to speed with the role
Your Duties Will Include
Being the 'go-to' person across the business for all things Seller Central and be the point of contact for external related partners
Driving profitability and growth across marketplace with a focus on strategy, sales, digital content, and promotions
Optimising product listings to increase sales conversion and maximise revenue
Working with the marketing and product management team to ensure accuracy of product listing and copy optimisation
Managing promotions and deals during key events such as Black Friday
Regularly reporting on sales and forecasting using insights to optimise strategies
Working closely with the demand planers and supply chain analyst
Continuously looking for ways to improve the offering for customers and implementing changes with the team
Managing and optimizing the overall marketplace presence in alignment with the company's brand strategy
Using analytical skills to assess marketplace performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Maintaining a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of marketplace management, including manually entering product listings, pricing, and promotions
Taking ownership of the end-to-end process, from product upload to order fulfilment, to enhance the overall customer experience.
The Person
To be considered for the role of Amazon Account Manager, you must possess the following attribute
Analytical with strong focus on attention to detail.
Experience of fully managing a busy retail account (ideally both UK and international)
Confident using Advertising Console.
Strategic thinking with a creative mindset and passion for innovation.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Commercially minded and results driven.
The role offers a high degree of autonomy, and although you will be working as part of a wider team, you will be the main influence of how you choose to drive sales on the channels outlined above.
