About the role:

This role has become available due to a new addition to our growing team. As a TA, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Key Stage 1 students, particularly those who are English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners.

You will work in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, providing tailored support to help these students overcome language barriers and excel academically. Our school is rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted, and this role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment with great students and dedicated staff.

Application Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications or experience in teaching or supporting young children.

• Specific knowledge and experience in supporting EAL students.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted support to EAL students to enhance their language skills.

• Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.

• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents.

• Support classroom activities, ensuring all students are included and engaged.
