About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This position, available due to the expansion of our support team to enhance our boosters and intervention programmes, is pivotal in providing targeted support to students and helping them achieve their full potential. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to deliver personalized support and interventions, assist with lesson preparation, and provide one-on-one support as needed.
With small to medium-sized class groups ensuring individual attention, this position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on student outcomes while being part of a supportive and forward-thinking team.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working with Key Stage 2 students, particularly in a TA or similar role.
• Strong understanding of special educational needs and experience in implementing interventions.
• Familiarity with the National Curriculum and strategies for supporting diverse learning needs.
• A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to helping students thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the teacher in delivering tailored support to students, including those with special educational needs.
• Implement and monitor booster programs designed to enhance student performance.
• Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Work closely with teachers to assess student progress and adapt support strategies as needed.
