About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. This role has become available due to an exciting new addition to our team. Working three days per week, you will support booster and intervention sessions, helping to raise attainment and provide targeted support to students.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment with small class sizes, allowing for more personalized attention and meaningful connections with students. The role stands out due to our commitment to professional development and the collaborative atmosphere within our staff team.
Application Requirements:
• A passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
• Experience working with Key Stage 2 students, particularly in a classroom or educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting to the needs of individual students.
• Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, particularly in booster and intervention sessions.
• Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students with special educational needs, adapting resources and strategies as necessary.
• Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents.
