About the role:
We are excited to invite applications for the position of Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) at our vibrant school in Ealing. This part-time role is perfect for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting young learners, especially through targeted boosters and interventions aimed at enhancing their literacy and numeracy skills. The successful candidate will join our team to strengthen our support for Key Stage 1 pupils, ensuring they receive the additional help they need to thrive. The position is available for immediate start in September, with exact working days to be arranged in discussion with the successful applicant.
Application Requirements:
• Experience working with young children in a school setting.
• Knowledge of Key Stage 1 curriculum and SEN.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with booster and intervention programmes.
• The selection process will include an initial application review, followed by interviews with the headteacher and key staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the delivery of booster and intervention programs, focusing on literacy and numeracy.
• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those with EHCPs.
• Work closely with the class teacher to monitor and support student progress.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
