About the role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in challenging behaviours to join our team. This full-time, long-term position offers a competitive daily rate of £85-£100. The role has become available due to the expansion of our SEN department to better support our growing number of students with special educational needs. As an SEN TA, you will work closely with our SENCo and classroom teachers to provide tailored support to students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

You will be instrumental in creating a positive learning environment, using your expertise to manage challenging behaviours and help students achieve their full potential. Our small class sizes ensure that you can give each student the attention they need.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children with challenging behaviours.

• A strong understanding of SEN practices and strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, resilience, and a nurturing attitude.

• Relevant qualifications or training in Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to students with challenging behaviours.

• Implement and adapt learning activities to meet the needs of SEN students.

• Assist classroom teachers in managing classroom dynamics and behaviour.

• Monitor and report on student progress to SENCo and parents.
