The Opportunity

SR2 are hiring multiple experienced software engineers with strong skills in Java software development and skilled working within a AWS or Azure environment. It would be highly desirable for candidates to have some exposure or experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular as the current project is working full stack but with a focus on the backend.

You'll be joining a well-established and stable software consultancy with a 'software house' feel to their culture and ways of working. There will be no expectation for working crazy hours or travelling across the country, rather you'll be given tons of flexiblity to work remotely with visiting the office just 1-2 times per month, hours can be flexible also and it is a 37.5 hour working week.

Promotions are available all year round and upon joining you will be assigned a career coach to support you with regular mentoring, 1-2-1's and help you to achieve your career aspirations and goals.

It's a very 'techy' culture and you'll be able to join in on their social calendar of events which includes summer & Christmas parties, hackathons, meetups, pub trips, film nights and even an annual company holiday which is expensed by them and a great chance to get to hang out with colleagues.
