About the Home Manager role:

You will play a pivotal role in providing outstanding care and support to our children, empowering them to overcome challenges and thrive in a nurturing environment, you'll be the driving force behind the day-to-day operations of our home, supported and guided by a Registered Manager. Working collaboratively with an existing team while warmly welcoming and inducting new staff members. Your effective communication skills and caring, empathetic nature will be instrumental in creating a positive and supportive atmosphere for both our team and the children in our care.

As a Home Manager, you will demonstrate your in-depth knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations, ensuring that our homes exceed the highest standards of care and treatment interventions. Your ability to develop and inspire your team will be crucial in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth.

Skills and experience required as our Home Manager:

* Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or NVQ equivalent.

* Desired: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership (or equivalent).

* Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Home Manager in a residential care setting.

* Caring and empathetic nature, with effective communication skills.

* In-depth knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations.

* Ability to develop and inspire a high-performing team.
