Position Overview

As an Assistant Training Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the effective management of a residential care facility. This position involves supporting the Home Manager in various operational aspects of the home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care Plan Development: Collaborate in the creation, execution, and assessment of personalized care strategies for residents.
  • Staff Oversight: Assist in supervising staff and managing administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Needs Assessment: Identify and address the emotional, physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of residents, making informed decisions in partnership with the management team.
  • Induction and Training: Support the Home Manager in conducting staff inductions and ongoing training sessions.
  • Staffing Management: Aid in maintaining adequate staffing levels by planning and managing work schedules.
  • Training Compliance: Ensure that all staff members are current with their training requirements.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct evaluations to identify potential risks for both staff and residents.
