Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are recruiting for our client, a successful growing manufacturing organisation in the FMCG Supply Chain sector. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced NPD Project Coordinator to join them on a permanent basis.
You will be the interface between the customer and sales team, responsible for coordinating the New Product Development process including understanding the customer requirements, liaising with internal teams including sale and design, right through to delivery of the product to the customer.
Responsibilities will include:
Liaise with customers to understand requirements and liaise with internal sales, commercial and design teams to coordinate fulfilment of order.
Gather technical specification on product requirements from customers.
Provide product information, availability and pricing information to customers.
Work with commercial team to gather information on pricing and liaise with customer on budget, pricing sign off and approval of project.
Coordinate and send product samples to customers.
Key point of contact for customer throughout the lifecycle of project.
Update CRM system throughout the project.
Ensure timescales and deadlines are achieved through project and delivery is met.
Deal with any issues &/or delays throughout the project, ensuring customers are kept up to date and any problems are resolved.
To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following background and skills:
Previous experience of working in a similar project coordination role.
Experience of working in FMCG, supply chain sector and dealing with technical product specification, working in either the food or drink sector would be highly advantageous.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, able to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
Able to provide excellent service levels, to internal and external Customers.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, planning and prioritising skills.
Strong IT skills, this should include MS Office, Projects, CRM &/or ERP systems
