About Us: T4S Education specialises in recruiting facilities staff for schools in London. We are currently recruiting an Assistant Premises Manager for a prestigious independent school based in Hammersmith, London.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Assistant Premises Manager. The successful candidate will work closely with the Premises Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the school's facilities. This is a full-time position, offering flexibility between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, with one hour for lunch. The salary will be dependant on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* To assist the Premises Manager in the co-ordination and monitoring of the work of the Premises Team during term time, school holidays and evenings, whenever on duty.
* Supervise a team of facilities staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
* Respond promptly to any emergencies or issues that may arise.
* To work closely with the Bursar in promoting the hire of the School’s premises and facilities. To act as the main point of contact for each lettings event and to be on call throughout the letting period.
* Collaborate with other departments to coordinate activities and events.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role within a school environment.
* Proven experience supervising a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Having a positive attitude and good sense of humour.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
