My fantastic client is looking for a driven and diligent Quality Administrator to join their team. To be considered for this role you must have experience in a similar role.

Key duties:

* Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective deliveries.

* Continuously enhance cost and budget research to ensure logistics suppliers meet budgetary constraints and ISO standards.

* Ensure that the company is meeting the quality and Health and Safety standards; including the continued implementation of the fire risk assessment and Health and Safety Policy and both are annually reviewed.

* Collaborate with managers and staff, providing training, tools, and techniques to achieve quality standards in logistics.

* Regularly communicate with department heads about specific risks within logistics.

* Ensure that method statements and risk assessments are in place and reviewed appropriately.

* Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 logistics standards.

* Measure performance, identify areas of weakness, and recommend and implement improvements.

* Assess the effectiveness of changes related to quality in logistics.

* Stay informed about legislative requirements, recommended codes of practice, and new safety literature.

* Assist with accident or incident investigations as needed, and monitor effective reporting of all accidents, incidents, and near misses in accordance with policy procedures.

* Collaborate with procurement to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.

* Review customer requirements to ensure they are met.

* Define quality procedures in collaboration with operating staff.

* Attend workshops, health and safety updates, and safety forums to assist in continuous improvement within logistics and development of company procedures and performance.

* Process purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation.

* Maintain and update procurement records and databases.

* Review and verify invoices against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.

* Support the procurement team in cost analysis and budgeting activities.

Experience required:

* Experience in a similar role, either in logistics, procurement, quality or health and safety

* Strong admin skills

* Experience in Microsoft Office Suite

* Strong attention to detail

* Team player
