Duties

* Manage and coordinate all sales activities within your area to meet company targets, maintain client relationships, and drive business growth.

* Oversee and develop the sales function, ensuring a strong sales pipeline and reporting to senior management.

* Serve as the primary contact for technical matters and sales inquiries, liaising with clients daily.

* Secure customer commitment, manage the entire sales lifecycle, and provide exceptional end-to-end customer support.

* Prepare customer quotations, gather market intelligence, and ensure accurate customer database maintenance.

* Achieve sales targets, expand the customer base, service existing accounts, and identify new business opportunities.

* Contribute to marketing efforts, regional sales strategies, and operational objectives by providing insights and implementing improvements.

* Continuously update job knowledge through education, networking, and staying informed on industry trends.

* The successful candidate may be expected to perform additional tasks as required by the evolving role and company objectives.

The Ideal Person

* Experienced sales professional with a successful history and expertise in fleet operations.

* Prior experience in a fleet sales role is preferred.

* Technical knowledge of vehicles is highly advantageous.

* Strongly preferred: technical understanding or familiarity with the commercial fleet sector.

* Excellent communicator with the ability to build and sustain business relationships at all levels.

* Proactive in identifying and creating new business opportunities to meet sales and profitability targets
