Reporting to the Global Head of Real Estate, this is a key position for a dynamic individual with a comprehensive understanding of facilities management, strong leadership skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships with key business stakeholders.
The role centers effective contract oversight, and proficiency in scoping, design, budgeting, cost control, and capital project management.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop and implement a global workplace services strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership to ensure workplace services support and enhance the overall corporate strategy.Oversee the day-to-day operations of workplace services, ensuring a safe, secure, and efficient working environment utilizing data-driven insights to optimize operational processes.Establish and maintain global standards for workplace services to ensure consistency and efficiency across all locations leading the planning, execution, and management of office fitouts globally.Oversee capital projects, including small changes, refurbishment, and repair projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.Leverage extensive experience in both in-source and outsourced facilities models, managing transitions between different models based on organizational needs.Champion the use of data to inform decision-making processes within the workplace services function implementing systems and processes for continuous improvement.Implement a robust contract management framework for suppliers, ensuring contracts are effectively negotiated, executed, and adhered toMonitor supplier performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and manage occupancy information to provide accurate and timely data for demand planning.Develop and manage the workplace services budget on a global scale, incorporating data insights to maximize cost-effectiveness and driving sustainability initiatives. Ensure workplace services, particularly technical and office spaces, comply with global regulations.Lead and inspire a global team of workplace services professionals, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.Effectively communicate workplace services strategies, achievements, and challenges to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders, supported by data-driven insights.Role Specific requirementsBachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Proven experience in a senior workplace services management role with a global scope.Strong leadership and people management skills.In-depth knowledge of workplace services best practices and industry trends.Extensive experience in working with both in-source and outsourced facilities models.Demonstrated expertise in using data to drive efficiencies and inform decision-making.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to build and manage relationships with key business stakeholders.Experience in implementing and managing contract management frameworks.Expertise in scoping, design, budgeting, cost control, and management of capital projects, including small changes, refurbishment, and repair projects.Experience in managing and reporting occupancy information for demand planning.Financial acumen and budget management experience.Familiarity with sustainability practices in workplace services.Ability to travel internationally as required.What we offerColt is a growing business that is investing in its people.
