Commercial Director
Location - Hybrid working with weekly/bi-weekly travel to the Weymouth Head office required

A crucial role in the growth of this market leader - Magicard by Brady - leading new business sales for EMEA and APAC


The role of Commercial Director:
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader who brings sales pedigree, experience of selling through distributors/resellers, a passion for data driven decision making and a background with demonstrated performance improvement.
Drive the commercial strategy, defining where to compete and how, setting long term commercial goals, identifying growth opportunities.
Spearhead the sales growth and market penetration in the chosen (sub)vertical markets and geographies.
Using data to fuel decision making in sales, marketing, and pricing.
Management of sales personnel within EMEA/APAC.


Fit of the role of Commercial Director in the organisation:
Reporting to the General Manager for EMEA and APAC.
For this role of Commercial Director, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
~5 + years, international, b2b sales-leadership experience ideally, in one of the following sectors: Label/card printing, telephony, Point of sale, hand-held scanners, smart devices or office A/V equipment
~ Additional experience of working in, or with a b2b marketing function
~ Comfortable with regular travel to the Magicard site in Weymouth and across the territory to meet colleagues/clients/partners.


It is based in Weymouth (UK), but helps customers across the world in a huge variety of sectors including food and beverage, travel, government, healthcare, and many others.

Magicard printers are renowned for their built-in security features, including the HoloKote® secure watermark and digital shredding. Tens of thousands of Magicard printers are shipped from its UK manufacturing centre to more than 100 countries around the World each year. Annual sales $1.4bn.
