Management Accountant Oxford

Are you a Management Accountant looking to make a difference? Are you comfortable defining new approaches and overseeing accounting for an exciting and growing organisation?
We’re excited to share this new position which will report into the CFO and be helping transform our approach to accounting. You will be working alongside our Finance Manager and Finance Team, to both assist with day-to-day tasks, and drive the department forward. This role is a chance to contribute significantly to a business that prioritises innovation and best practice.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate reporting of all financial information with systems and processes operating effectively
- Manage month-end processes and audits, providing comprehensive financial information
- Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
- Overseeing other aspects of financial operations such as bookkeeping and payroll
- Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to company management
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by the CFO
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified ACCA or CIMA Accountant with experience in management accounting is essential. Nearly or part qualified would be considered with relevant experience
- Proven experience in a financial role within a dynamic environment
- Demonstrable experience in creating and managing processes
- An analytical thinker with strong investigative and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills are required to liaise confidently with other parts of the business
- Ability to work under own initiative as well as liaising closely with various teams
- Experience with Xero would be beneficial but not essential
