Our client is a specialised engineering company that provides integrated engineering solutions to the power, marine, industrial, and offshore sectors. They are currently seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join their successful team in the Vale of Glamorgan. The client is a well-established national engineering company with offices across the UK, offering professional engineering services to the power, waste, chemical, oil/gas, marine, and offshore sectors. They specialize in pressure equipment and provide services during equipment design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning for the Water, Chemical, Power & Marine sectors.
This is a full-time office-based position with site visits and meetings included. As the Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting risk assessments, implementing safety policies and procedures, providing safety training, and managing any.
Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) knowledge and experience
# Experience in safety training and implementing safety procedures
# NEBOSH certification (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health)
# Relevant degree or certification in Health and Safety or a related field
