Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Specialist to join our team. The Safety Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees by implementing and maintaining safety protocols and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards
- Investigate accidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Provide safety training to employees on various topics such as hazard communication, emergency response, and personal protective equipment
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety within the organization

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- Proven experience working as a Safety Specialist or in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills to analyze safety data and trends for continuous improvement
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and educate employees on safety practices

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £24.58 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
