With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to innovation, they pride themselves on delivering projects that exceed client expectations. As a Senior Mechanical Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in their pre-construction team, responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with mechanical elements of their projects. Your expertise will contribute to the success of their bids, ensuring competitiveness in the market while maintaining profitability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and collaborate with talented professionals in the industry. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed mechanical take-offs and material quantity surveys.Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
Collaborate with the wider project team to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior estimators as needed.
Participate in tender review meetings and contribute valuable insights to enhance bid strategies.Requirements: Extensive experience in mechanical estimating within the M&E sector.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX) and Microsoft Office Suite.
