External Operations Manager

Reporting directly to the MD, the External Operations Manager will ensure a seamless client experience, through strong internal leadership and 'white glove' customer service.

This role is 50% WFH and 50% Field-based.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage a team of Field Installation Managers, leading by example and creating a high quality work culture.
  • Responsible for ensuring orders are met within deadlines, working closely with the Factory Manager to resolve problems before they arise.
  • Monitor the quality of installations
  • Visiting customers to prioritise their needs and personalising their experience.
  • Exceeding client's expectations; genuinely caring about their happiness and satisfaction.
  • Indirectly managing a team of contract installers, establishing positive relationships to encourage a high-performing culture.

Background:

  • Previous experience within interior installations.
  • Experience in a B2C environment
  • Strong leadership, able to motivate and influence others.
  • Confident in having difficult conversations and problem-solving
  • Disciplined to work autonomously and manage priorities

In return, you will receive a salary of £50,000 and a company car. The salary will increase on completion of probation (6 months). You will work with a great team with a work hard, play hard mentality. Security of being part of a wider group, with the feel of a small business where you can work independently and drive growth and change.
