Position: Externals Manager
We are a recognised contractor with a growing presence across London, currently seeking an experienced Externals Site Manager to join the team on a multi-phased residential project in West London.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all external works on the site, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
Coordinate and supervise sub-contractors involved in external works, primarily brickwork and blockwork and including facades, roofing, landscaping, and groundwork.
Monitor and enforce health and safety standards on-site.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Liaise with the project manager and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of external works with the overall construction programme.
Manage site logistics, including deliveries, storage, and distribution of materials for external works.
Resolve any on-site issues related to external works promptly and efficiently.
Prepare and submit regular progress reports and updates to senior management.
Ensure all external works are completed within budget and to the highest standard.Requirements:
Proven experience as an Externals Site Manager or similar role in residential construction.
Strong understanding of external works, including facades, roofing, and landscaping.
Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Exceptional organisational and leadership skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
Experience in managing multi-phased projects is highly desirable.Benefits:
