Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Sustainability team is looking for an experienced, driven, analytical, and creative Senior Program Manager to execute on Amazon Transportation Service’s carbon reduction goals. An ideal candidate will: 1) serve as the overall liaison between sustainability team and business teams within Middle Mile, 2) drive the overarching sustainability strategy for their business unit, and 3) track carbon abatement and carbon intensity on a monthly basis. You will be able to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, and then deliver them in a successful and timely manner. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success in this role.
This role is inherently cross-functional—you will work closely, but not limited to, with WW Sustainability, WW Ops Sustainability, Core Operations, Legal, Finance, Network planning, and executive teams to bring programs to the market. Develop core program management documentation, including user scenarios and detailed business requirements,
• Directly influence the definition and management of the strategic roadmaps for the Middle Mile network.
As an experienced project and Sr program manager, you will bring a depth of knowledge on sustainability design, project scope development, vendor & technical consultant management, stakeholder coordination, and project performance reporting.
Some occasional domestic and international travel required (%).
