This role will work closely with the Ceded Re Operations Manager, the internal teams as well as brokers and reinsurers to ensure Reinsurance contracts are interpreted, entered onto the XLPro system and serviced in a timely fashion. Additional responsibilities include preparation of financial bookings, Reinsurer statements and queries and premium adjustments.
You will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and direction to team members, fostering a positive work environment, and driving performance excellence.
Oversee and review Ceded calculations for facultative, XOL and quota share premium and claims for financial bookings (month end/quarter end/year end)
Ensure all ceded claims are reported in line with contractual terms and action any reinsurer queries
Assist with preparation of any regulatory reporting including Lloyd’s returns, group reporting, terrorism pools
Work independently or with other team members on the continuous improvement projects as directed by the Ceded Re Operations Manager
Strong Excel skills at proficient level are essential for this role
Ability to meet financial and contractual reporting deadlines
Strong comprehension of business processes and systems
Good understanding of Bureau systems and procedures
5+ years’ experience in a similar role within the company & Lloyds Insurance market is essential

Candidate must have previous experience of leading a team or senior experience within Reinsurance Operations
